Three different clocks
A fact has an observation date or reporting period. A publisher can release it later. The platform then observes and approves a particular version. Those timestamps should not be collapsed into one Live label.
Missing is a state
A report can be absent from the API, a section can be unreported, or a record can be awaiting approval. None of those states establishes that the AMC failed to publish or that a value equals zero.
History can be corrected
The latest approved version of a historical report is useful for research today. Reconstructing what was known on a past date requires publication and revision timestamps. Where those inputs are not verified, the platform does not claim a historical backtest is free of future information.
