What the platform reads
Financial facts come from the existing ILovePSX fund APIs: canonical registry records, accepted NAV observations, observed payout events and approved promoted Fund Manager Report facts. Raw extraction, staging, private review notes and internal operational evidence are not public research data.
Separate dates and meanings
A NAV date, monthly reporting period, publication timestamp and data-version approval date each describe something different. They remain visible on relevant views. A source fact, a platform calculation and an interpretation are not presented as the same kind of information.
Overview market snapshot
The four cards use the same closed report month: median reported annualized one-month returns for cash and income funds, median reported absolute one-month equity returns, and the share of sampled equity funds beating their own reported one-month benchmark. At least three usable observations per measure are required. The newest qualifying month is selected; publication dates and NAV dates are not substituted for reporting months.
Only active registry funds in the declared cash, income and equity categories are eligible. Pension sub-funds, fixed-rate plans, multi-asset and fund-of-funds products are not mixed into these samples. Both conventional and Shariah-compliant funds are included. Unknown annualization, ambiguous one-month labels, conflicting values and sub-fund rows are excluded. Within a family/category, identical plan returns receive one vote; conflicting plan returns are excluded. There is no AUM weighting or implied industry asset total.
Each card opens its exact sample and source links. The median is the middle observation, or the average of the middle pair. Benchmark breadth counts strictly positive same-row fund-minus-benchmark differences; a tie is not a win. These source-based sample statistics are not a total-return index, investor-specific return, forecast, current deposit rate or guaranteed yield. The sample can change between months, so the cards do not invent month-on-month trend arrows.
Manager identities
Honorifics, role suffixes and professional qualifications are separated from display names while source wording is retained. A qualification without a personal name is not a manager. Different AMCs, initials and approximate spelling matches are never automatically joined. A matching name produces a searchable disclosure page; unresolved fund-specific identity keys remain separate. Cross-fund identity links require an explicit source person ID or a reviewed, scoped decision. Old links redirect only when their destination is unambiguous.
Historical disclosures
The month selector displays the approved data available for that period. Missing reports remain gaps. Top-holdings disclosures are not assumed to be complete portfolios. A position becoming undisclosed is not evidence of a sale.
NAV and total return
The NAV chart shows per-unit observations. Distributions, reinvestment and unit adjustments are necessary for a verified total-return series. Observed payouts alone do not establish completeness. We do not use unadjusted NAV changes to manufacture investor returns, downside ratings or Sharpe ratios.
Ownership and overlap
The initial ownership explorer groups exact disclosed position names. It does not silently merge unresolved aliases or claim complete industry coverage. Observed overlap uses compatible portfolio-weight denominators and a common reporting period. Unknown exposure remains unknown.
Costs and industry aggregates
Actual expenses and maximum permitted fees remain separate. Assets under management and investor flows are different measures. We do not infer subscriptions from AUM growth or combine incompatible parent/child fund assets into an invented industry total.
Monthly AI policy
AI research, when published, is produced in a shared monthly batch from approved source bundles, validated and stored with citations. Visiting a page does not generate an AI call. Ratings and financial calculations remain deterministic.
Privacy and corrections
Account workspaces are authorized by the existing ILovePSX identity. Notes and saved account records are not public. The research application does not connect directly to the funds or PSX database. Report a suspected data issue through the official support path with the affected fund, period and source; do not send passwords or API keys.
