Research cash-management funds through their returns, underlying investments, reported costs and access terms.
Understand reported returns, portfolio choices and the scale of the money-market sample before exploring individual funds.
Percentages with different asset denominators cannot be combined. Equal fund average gives one eligible research unit one vote; net-asset weighting uses each eligible fund’s qualified net assets. Parent funds and named plans are kept in separate universes. Repeated family identities are excluded rather than counted twice.
Annualized short-period returns express a past period at an annual rate; they are not the gain earned during that month or a promised future yield. Credit risk, access conditions and source definitions still matter.
Median of explicit annualized observations for the selected lookback; a full one-year return is numerically comparable without converting it. This is past performance, not a quoted future yield.
17 comparable reports
Sum of compatible reported net assets. Ambiguous families and invalid currency/unit figures are excluded. Funds and named plans are researched separately to avoid adding both layers together.
23 qualified PKR asset figures
Count of reported fund returns above their own reported mandate benchmark, with a 0.005 pp tie tolerance. Different fund mandates do not share one universal cash benchmark.
Same period and reported basis
Median of qualified yearly reported expense ratios including levies. Maximum charges, monthly ratios and contradictory figures are excluded. Expenses are not subtracted again from reported returns.
13 explicit annual ratios incl. levies
Each dot is a fund’s reported return for the selected period. Conventional and Shariah mandates remain separate; a higher return alone does not establish lower risk.
